ACE College Scholarship Application

Please fill out the form and submit your one-page essay to apply for the ACE College Scholarship.

The ACE College Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship for Cornerstones of Care foster youth. It is limited to 5 awards per year, one per student.

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the Cornerstones of Care Ace Scholarship, applicants must:

·        Be graduating during the year that you apply for the scholarship

·        Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

·   Proof of FAFSA application

·        Have an unmet financial need

·        Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00

·   Proof of GPA

·        Demonstrate academic potential

·        Plan to attend a 4-year college or university, trade school, business school, junior college, or community college in the Fall of the year you graduate For more detailed information, please see the following document:

Ace Scholarship Essay

Each student applicant must complete a one page essay answering the following question:

"Why you want to continue your education beyond high school?"

Items you might include are:

· What was your involvement in high school and any work you have done in your community?

· How do you plan to further their education after high school?

· What are your long term career goals and personal interests, and provide examples and or supporting information wherever possible?
